Description
A custom coil for retrofitting a Giraud automatic annealer from flame to induction. Comes with the 3.5mm audio cable for the interface.
Available in convection (air) cooled
and water cooled versions.
Which one do you want?
-Most cartridges that fit in the .5″ gapped ferrite will operate just fine with air-cooling. In this case, water-cooling will give you that last bit of control over your process.
-Many cartridges that require the .625″ gapped ferrite will do fine with convection-cooling. however, your throughput will need to be slowed down.
-For the .75″ gapped ferrite, water-cooling is mandatory. Cartridges such as the 50BMG will draw all 1200W out of the Annie, and require a burn time of 10-12 seconds. That’s just too much for convection cooling to work.
